The Story

I started a free community called 💥PKAW (💥Powerful Kick Ass Women In Business) - a few months ago here in Toulouse with the intention of getting coffee together once a week to meet our business Wing Women - help taking photos for content creation, some co-working maybe while setting some goals and creating ‘accountability.’

What actually happened was I finally made my mythical Sex and The City style female friends squad, at 38.

The business magic happens usually in a few minutes at the end of our coffee or in our Whatsapp group after the friendship stuff.

From helping each other with branding, connections, pitches to gynaecologist and driving license exchange applications, we have been each others village, filling in the gaps that are there as needed. 

The energy is warm, positive, supportive and above all kick ass, because we recognise how much work goes into the emotional growth behind what we do. 

And how our businesses can impact our communities and industries when we prioritise our self-care and healing our intuition. 

The vibe? ‘How can we do this?’ from ‘its possible’ energy.

Choosing locations to connect based on quality of carrot cake and nice wallpaper in toilets is as important to us as debating the value of becoming a B-corp vs leaning into our own standards. 

And once you are in, you have a village. You have a family. You have support. You are not alone. We share our energy so that whenever one of us feels like its all failing and hopeless (hello hormones) the ones that feel unstoppable (hello hormones) are there to lovingly hold up the mirror so you can see how fabulous you actually are. 

And I want all of us to have the option of building their village so that they can have the safety of support and connection and putting roots down in our chosen homes!

How does it work?

An invite only WhatsApp community - with a monthly online workshop for our Global group - sent by email.

A directory of our members and space to share what you do and create any special offers for PKAW members (this will be a Notion document with a highlight in the weekly email)

Support to organise your local events if you’re not in Toulouse as we grow!

Minimalist Resource Library - I love what Violette FR said about her brand being designed to complete and not compete, so we’ll never add things for the sake of it and will practise my coaching tool of Prune to Bloom as we evolve!
